Conflicting ideologies and concepts saturate our everyday lives, acting as a background for our own personal journeys. Attempts to fit into one’s physical, social and emotional environment can cause a clash between commonly accepted social roles and individual feelings and instincts. This results in a constant becoming and re-becoming of the self, emphasized in this exhibition. The works - some more conceptual, others examples of subjective documentary – are the artists’reflections on growing up, identity, sexuality and the meaning of life while on the fragile border between youth and maturity. Taking their own personal experience as a starting point, the emerging photographers reflect the universal, but at the same time individual and unpredictable course of coming-of-age.
Opening hours: Wednesday till Saturday from 13 AM - 19 PM.
Enterance free.
